The year 2017 was the year of Korean skincare. In an extremely short span of time, the korean skincare routine gained immense popularity in India and their prominent sheet masks are now a part of our daily skincare routine too.

Out of all korean brands that are now available in India, My favourite is for INNISFREE. Their products stand true to their claims and are worth every single penny. Today, I’m reviewing one of their capsule recipe pack: Bija and Aloe.

MY EXPERIENCE:
Innisfree opened their new store in Seawoods Grand Central few months back and that’s when I got my hands on these capsule recipe packs. The product comes in a tiny plastic packaging. The packaging is quite unique and impressive, although not of the best quality. The product quantity is very less but It can still be used upto 4 times and the price is very genuine for that. The pack is transparent in colour, just like aloe. It has a very mild fragrance. The fragrance is not something I am familiar with but it’s bothering. There are variants of capsule packs that are meant to be used as sleeping packs but this isn’t one of them. I apply this pack on a cleansed (and exfoliated too at times) face and allow it to stay throughout the night. Then, I was it off the next day.

The pack claims to soothe and moisturize sensitive skin. The after effects are not very extraordinary but still impressive. It makes skin soft and glowy but the moisturising claim doesn’t quite stand true. Fortunately, I have an oily skin so, I am happy that the pack doesn’t moisturize too much.
PROS:

  1. It is affordable, easily available and Application is easy.
  2. Very less quantity is required per application.
  3. It does have a soothing effect on skin.
  4. The pack might be suitable for all skin types.
  5. It doesn’t cause breakouts and dries off quickly.

CONS:

  1. The pack doesn’t moisturize much.
  2. The effects are not much visible or lasting

RATINGS: 3/5
DO IN RECOMMEND IT?
